This Privacy Policy applies to ALIFF, AI Modest Stylist, operated by ALIFF LLC (“ALIFF,” the “Company,” or “We”), and to the website at https://aliff.app/. At ALIFF, your data is an amanah, a trust. By using ALIFF, you agree to this Policy. We collect modesty-related preferences only after you give explicit consent, as described in Section 2. Because ALIFF helps with modest styling, we ask whether you wear hijab and about your coverage preferences. This can reveal religious belief, so under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act it is sensitive data, and we collect and use it only after you give explicit, opt-in consent at onboarding.
We use your modesty preferences for one purpose only: to personalize your styling. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, use it for profiling, or share it beyond what is necessary to operate the app. You can withdraw consent, edit, or delete these preferences anytime in Settings → Privacy, or by emailing info@aliff.app.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate ALIFF, under confidentiality agreements that limit them to providing services to us. These include Google and Apple (sign-in); Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat (subscriptions and payments); OpenWeather (which receives your city/region to return weather information); and providers for cloud hosting, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications. The complete sub-processor list is maintained internally and reflected in our Google Play Data Safety disclosures.
Any data provided within the United States will not be transferred by us to third countries or international organizations outside the United States. Our hosting is also located within the United States. Any data provided outside the United States will be transferred by us to the United States. Where personal data transfers occur internationally, they are governed by appropriate safeguards, which may include Model Contract Clauses for data protection where required.
We may disclose information if required by law, or in good faith to comply with legal process, protect our rights or property, or protect the safety of users or the public.
If you are a Texas resident, you have the right to confirm and access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling. See Section 6: ALIFF does none of these. To exercise these rights, email info@aliff.app or use the in-app controls. We respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days with notice). We will not require you to create an account to make a request, and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing info@aliff.app; we respond within 90 days. If denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General. Residents of other states may have similar rights; contact us and we will honor applicable rights.
ALIFF does not sell your personal data, does not use it for targeted advertising, and does not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Because we do none of these, there is no opt-out for you to complete.
General disclosure. We use artificial intelligence (“AI”) and machine learning technologies to process, analyze, and derive insights from the information we collect through the Services. AI enables us to improve user experience, enhance service functionality, automate certain operations, and deliver personalized content and recommendations.
Types of applications. We use AI in providing you with the Services, including but not limited to:
We protect your information using reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. No method of transmission or storage over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a security incident affects your personal information, we will promptly investigate and notify affected users and, where required, applicable regulators, in the manner and within the timeframes required by law.
You can delete your account and data anytime: in the app at Settings → Privacy → Delete account, on the web at our Account Deletion page, or by emailing info@aliff.app. On a verifiable request we delete your personal data and direct our service providers to do the same, subject to limited legal exceptions.
ALIFF is intended for users 18 years of age or older. At signup you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we will delete any such data if we learn of it.
We may contact you with account notices and, if you opt in, marketing emails. You can opt in or out of marketing in Settings → Privacy, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We send account and transactional emails regardless of marketing preferences.
You can sign in using Google or Apple, which handle sign-in under their own privacy policies. You can disconnect ALIFF by removing its access in your Google or Apple account settings, by deleting your ALIFF account, or by emailing info@aliff.app.
We may store data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors we contract with. ALIFF is operated from the United States; if you use it from elsewhere, your data may be processed in the U.S., and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When changes are significant, we will notify you by email to your account address or a prominent in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
